Laha Trunk Show

There is a great event to attend until end of the month…it's the Laha Trunk Show taking place at the Aspire Ballroom at Torch in Doha.

The show will feature many talented designers from the Gulf and from Europe with exclusive products, including beautiful bags form Âme Moi ideal to get ready in Style for Ramadan celebrations.

The entrance is free and will be showcasing until the 30th May.

Born Free Africa Project

Have you heard about Born For Free Africa Project??? 

This is an amazing charity project launched by MAC Cosmetics, Amazon Fashion and Vogue in collaboration with 22 Female Fashion Designers, in which 100% of the sales go to the fight against HIV transmission from mother to child.

Sasha Pivovarova, Karolina Kurkova, Doutzen Kroes and their children where photographed  by the Iconic Patrick Demarchelier for this impressive project.

The collection created by designers like Miuccia Prada, Phoebe Philo, Stella McCartney, Donatella Versace, Victoria Beckham, Diane Von Furstenberg and many others, can be found at Shopbop.com.

Ruffles of Colorful Paper Sculptures Suspended in Mid-Air by Peter Gentenaar

The Netherland-based artist Peter Gentenaar, whose etherial organic floating paper sculptures where created by unexpected processes to make he's stunning artwork. Tired and unsatisfied with commercial papers he developed with the help of Jo Persoom at the Royal Dutch Paper Factory, he's own technique for paper production.

The handmade paper is throng but thing, so it's reinforced with ribs of bamboo. Each organic piece to come to life, starts with a 2-dimension that he lays down and allows to dry. Then with time, the wet pulp dries around the bamboo framework and shrinks about 40% crunching into incredible shapes.

The sculptures are absolutely incredible!!!! They look like organic underwater creatures…

Now it's possible to see he's latest work at Hotel Indigo in St. Petersburg!!! Wish I could go…

Mary Katrantzou For Adidas Originals

A very exciting collaboration with Adidas is coming soon!!!

Mary Katrantzou will be following the steps of Topship, Stella MacCartney, Raf Simons and Pharrell Williams, with a long term collaboration with Adidas.

Katrantzou, a greek-born and east London -based designer is known for her kaleidoscopic patters and super colorful designs as a signature, so I'm quite sure we will see some bold and unexpected designs in the first capsule collection.

The global creative director for Adidas sport style division, Dirk Schoenberger, said: "I admire Mary's extraordinary sense of printing techniques, colors and silhouette that will bring another amazing new aesthetic to the adidas originals women's collection."

The collection will include both clothing and footwear, and will be launch next November… Don't forget...Calendar marked!

Audrey Hepburn anniversary (85th)

Audrey Kathlenn Ruston, known as Audrey Hepburn (4 May 1929- 20 January 1993) if she would be alive, today she would have had celebrate her 85th anniversary.

This British actress and humanitarian is my favorite Style, Elegance, Fashion, Class and Sophistication Icon…. She will always have a timeless style that I just love!!!
