The best of “Fifty Shades of Grey” is really the soundtrack….the rest, well…don’t loose your time to see such bad movie….

I guess the film and the book share the same quality... managed to read only few pages….

Qatar International Food Festival 2015

Wwwwooohhhooo!!!! The annual Qatar International Food Festival is Back! It’s the sixth year and is kicking off today at the Museum of Islamic Art Park till March 28.

It’s a great event to indulge yourself with great food and enjoy lots of activities like live cocking shows, performances, fireworks and many other shows.

Can’t wait for the weekend…..

I WANT TO SEE YOU by Rumi

Today is the International Poetry day, so I would like to share a beautiful poem by RUMI. 

Rumi was a Persian poet from the 13th century, many times described as the most popular poet of all times…

He was not only a poet but also a jurist, Islamic scholar, theologian a Sufi and mystic. His poetry and work influenced literature and philosophical thinking…

Hang Gliding in Rio de Janeiro

When I went there begging of this year…I decided that it was a great moment and place to try Hang Gliding in Sāo Conrado, the birthplace of free flight in Brazil and one of the most visited points of the Tijuca National Park in Rio de Janeiro.

Rio has many touristic attractions and activities but this one is not only a famous and popular one but different from the traditional way to see and experience this incredible city!

I obviously search a lot about Hang Gliding and because I do not aim to die anytime soon, I did some research and selected my flight instructor carefully.

So I choose to fly with FEX1DELTA due to the flight experience of the instructors, safety standards and the easiness to talk to the instructor while I was not in Brazil.

Luciano POPO was my flight instructor and I talked to him via Whatsapp to clarify all my doubts before making the final booking and decide to go for this incredible experience.

Luciano POPO has more than 15 years of experience as a free flight instructor not only in hang-gliding but also in para-glading and before he was a military parachutist, so free flying in clearly in is blood….

When you get to Sāo Conrado, you meet your instructor that will take you to the free flight club to sign your insurance and enroll you officially into the flight.

Then you will be taken up the mountain to the ramp of Pedra Bonita, a spectacular place with an incredible view…and then you get ready…

You learn to run and all the Do’s and Dont’s and after a pre-flight check on all the flight equipment you are cleared to take off.

I have to say, I was not nervous, though I agree that it can be nerve breaking…It was worth all seconds of this AMAZZINNNGG experience.

Thank you Luciano for the great experience! I highly recommend him and his team. I would do it again with no doubt!!!

Happy International Women’s Day

I feel this day is not for me…but for all the women in the world that still do not have a voice of their own and no free will or control in their own lives or destiny. To all women that still have no access to basic education, free will of whom they are going to marry. It’s a day to remember that still women are killed, sold and abused just because their where born women. 

This day is a day to remember that equality in gender is still a mirage… maybe one day we will not need such day to remember that there are to many women that do not own their own life.

Happy International Women’s day and remember we are all beautiful!!!

The CHI AL SHAQAB 2015 have just started!!! It’s an amazing event to go where you can enjoy great showmanship performances and many equestrian disciplines and skills in a very high-end and world-class venue.

It’s an event full of Jumping, Dressage, Para-Dressage and Vaulting with national and international horses and riders.

House of Cards Season 3

One of my favorite series is OUTTTTTTT!!!! How come I was so distracted and forgot about the 27th of February…. This time, all the 13 episodes came at the same time!
