The famous Miles Aldridge a London-born designer that studied illustration at Central St. Martins before in the mid-90's turning into fashion photographer will be showcasing at Somerset House from the 10 July until 29 September 2013.

Aldridge photography is candy-colorful, cinematographic and unconventional. He creates singular scenes with psychologically different characters with surreal approaches always with a mix of sexuality and sweetness.

This exhibition is the largest retrospective Miles has created and has many unseen large-scale photographic prints including alongside drawings, drawings, polaroids and magazines with a more intimate insight into his mind and its also accompanied by the launch of a eponymous book published by Rizzolini.
Miles as a fashion photographer has published his work in many influential magazines across the globe, that includes Vogue Italia, American Vogue, The New York Times, The New Yorker and the Numéro. He also showcased id work in Weird Beauty at the International Center for Photography in New York in 2009, and also has works in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
