Manoel de Oliveira 1908 - 2015
What a sad day for the World of Cinema. The Portuguese Manoel de Oliveira, believed to be the worlds oldest active Filmmaker, has died at the age of 106…
It’s incredible how only 15 days ago he was still directing!!!!
He worked with international stars like John Malkovich, Catherine Deneuve, Marcelo Mastroianni, received many international awards and had such a young spirit and energy to keep on filming.
The cinema truly lost a big Star!!!!
