Casey Neistat promo film for Ben Stiller's new film "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty"

We often forget the purpose and the true values of Christmas.
Love, Kindness, Compassion, Charity should not be forgotten, not only this time of the year but all year long so we could in fact become better human beings more determinate to understand others and more concern in returning to the world some of the graces that we receive daily.

So today I felt like talking about what Casey Neistat did when he was offered $US25,000 to create a promotional film for Ben Stiller's new movie "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty".

He took the money and spent it all on the victims of Typhoon Haiyan that affected recently the Philippines killing more than 6000 people and destroying more than a million homes and displacing 4 million more.

Fox movies agreed to his concept and here is the fantastic result….

If we would all help a little more I'm sure the world would be a better place…
And… Merry Christmas!!!….

Blue Favorites #4 Guerlain Les Ors Meteorites Perles Light Diffusing Primer

I'm not the kind of women that wears a lot of Make Up! I love a light and natural make up, just enough to enhance my natural features.

Even using very less it is important, depending on the occasion, to choose the right products for the right effect.

One of my favorite primers for a light MakeUp is the Guerlain Les Ors Meteorites Perles Ligth Diffusing Primer. This MakeUp base primer utilizes gold pearls that are sightly tinted with white, peach, gold and pink to brighten and illuminate the skin helping to set and fix the MakeUp.
Though it uses silicone base ingredients it does not give that awful silicone-like feel. On the opposite it feels like water based with a very light texture blending out easily in the skin giving a softer and smoother appearance to it.

Because it gives a smooth radiance and sightly gloomy appearance,  I recommend it exclusively with liquid and light foundations. Using it with powder or to mate foundations will kill the gloomy effect.

Personally I love to use the Guerlain Les Ors Meteorites Perles when I'm a bit tanned with a good BB Cream!!! The result is just perfect!

Blue Wish #2

Those who know me well, know my passion for shoes! I love a beautiful pair of shoes…
Though my obsession for shoes I'm not a big fan of sneakers, but that was until the day my eyes fell on these stunning sneakers!!!

The BUSCEMI 100MM were created by the streetwear veteran Jon Buscemi and this high top sneaker pays homage to the iconic Hermès Birkin handbag.
They are just gorgeous and 100% handmade in Italy (Civitanova) and they come in 3 different colors…Red, White and Black.

By the way... Christmas is coming, I can live with the black ones..size 39 :)

Carolina Herrera S/S14 Fashion Show

I have always been a huge fan of Carolina Herrrera collections and since I start working CH's is one of my main choices for business wear, cocktail and party dresses.

So it was with happiness that I attended to the unveiling of the Spring Summer collection for 2014 that took place at the Royal Villa in the Sharq Village & Spa Hotel.

The show organized by the Creative House Qatar was flawless, the atmosphere was amazingly cozy and chic with the models flowing around the vila rooms and pool showcasing the new collection.

Take a look of some of the looks…

Ohh and sorry for the wretched quality of these pictures…they were taken with the iphone…

George Clooney - Covers W Magazine's annual Art Issue

To end this year several magazines are with stunning covers….and this is one of them…
George Clooney is the cover of W Magazine's annual Art Issue covered with designed dots from Yayoi Kusama…. The result is absolutely stunning!  I'm in love by this concept!!!!

W's Art Issue is already a tradition that already brought in the past Kim Kardashian naked, Nicki Minaj in a surrealistic set up  or Angelina Jolie in a very private home setting, but this edition is simply stunning….

Kusama is renowned by her dots obsession, last year's she collaborated with Louis Vuitton  for fantastic collection and now she customized Clooney Armani shoes and suit creating a loud artistic statement shoot by Emma Summerton and styled by Michael Kucmeroski.

Clooney proved he can adapt to any kind of production, even in a such high-fashion style which is something new… And this spot treatment really suits him don't you think?

In the magazine Clooney is interviewed by Lynn Hirschberg about is new upcoming film "The Monuments Men", about a team of art historians and museum directors and curators  where he plays the leader, who join their forces to fight and rescue art stolen by Adolf Hitler during the World War II.

GoodBye Madiba - My Hero (18 July 1918 – 5 December 2013)

I could never imagine when I landed this morning in Doha that I would start the day with such sad news…

Nelson Mandela has always been my favorite Hero, a wise man that could rise above the common thought and act accordingly.

The world is definitely poorer, man like him are rare treasures, the lessons of braveness,  kindness and compassion are immense throughout he's amazing life story ( once again I recommend Mandela's book 'Along walk to freedom") and read one of my favorite poems recited by him to other prisoners during the time he was incarcerated on Robben Island prison.

He gave us many impressive life lessons, a men that will never be forgotten with an immense ability to forgive and maintain is dignity, humility and love for his country in the most harsh moments of he's life… witch is truly inspiring...

When good men dies, the humanity dies a little…. Viva Madiba!!!

MANDELA DAY LYRICS by Simple Minds:

It was 25 years they take that man away
Now the freedom moves in closer every day
Wipe the tears down from your saddened eyes
They say Mandela's free so step outside
Oh oh oh oh Mandela day
Oh oh oh oh Mandela's free

It was 25 years ago this very day
Held behind four walls all through night and day
Still the children know the story of that man
And I know what's going on right through your land

Na na na na Mandela day
Oh oh oh Mandela's free

If the tears are flowing wipe them from your face
I can feel his heartbeat moving deep inside
It was 25 years they took that man away
And now the world come down say Nelson Mandela's free

Oh oh oh oh Mandela's free

The rising suns sets Mandela on his way
Its been 25 years around this very day
From the one outside to the ones inside we say
Oh oh oh oh Mandela's free
Oh oh oh set Mandela free

Na na na na Mandela day
Na na na na Mandela's free

What's going on
And we know what's going on
Cos we know what's going on

Blue Wish #1

I need to go back to the gym… but I'm becoming a bit lazy lately...

Why not, since the weather is getting better, to start in style with some bike rides along the corniche in Doha with this beautiful model by Hermès: Le Flâneur d’Hermès – Blanc d’Espagne.
